Mar/Apr 2025 | Baldpate is about 110 miles offshore Gulf of Mexico in the Garden Banks area in 1,647 ft of water. The field was discovered in 1991 and achieved first oil through the world's first free-standing compliant tower platform in 1998. The total combined height of the jacket and truss tower is 1,671 ft.
