    Jan. 9, 2023 | Johan Castberg, in the Barents Sea 100 km northwest of Snøhvit field, is scheduled to start production in 2024. The field consists of three discoveries— Skrugard, Havis, and Drivis—proven between 2011 and 2013 and is expected to produce for 30 years via FPSO tied to 18 horizontal production wells and 12 injection wells.
