Masirah Oil to increase production at Yumna field, Oman

Masirah Oil Ltd. (MOL) let a contract to Northern Offshore Ltd. for the Energy Emerger jack-up drilling rig for a multi-well program in offshore Yumna field, Block 50, Oman.

Masirah Oil Ltd. (MOL) let a contract to Northern Offshore Ltd. for the Energy Emerger jack-up drilling rig for a multi-well program in offshore Yumna field, Block 50, Oman.

The program will consist of drilling and completion of a new in-field well and the work-over of two existing production wells. The program will start mid-March 2024.

Yumna field production is through a mobile offshore production unit and a floating storage tanker. First oil was achieved at the end of March 2020.

MOL is operator with 100% interest in Block 50.
