Aker BP ASA has been granted a permit from the Norwegian Offshore Directorate to drill in the Norwegian Sea.
Exploration well 6507/2-8 is expected to be drilled in production license 942 by the Deepsea Nordkapp semisubmersible drilling rig.
Aker BP is operator of the license with 30% interest. Partners are ORLEN Upstream Norway AS (40%) and Equinor Energy AS (30%).
