Petrobras lets onshore drilling contracts
Petrobras let contracts to EBS Perfurações and Conterp for new drilling rigs to expand onshore oil and gas production in Brazil's state of Bahia.
The contracted rigs will participate in the next onshore drilling campaign from September 2025 to June 2029. EBS will provide drilling services for onshore wells with a depth of up to 5,000 m, while Conterp will be responsible for drilling wells with a depth of up to 4,000 m.
The contracts, valued at about $122 million in total, were signed in January this year.
