Oil India Ltd. has let a drilling contract to Dolphin Drilling AS to support Oil India's exploration and development.
Under the terms of the agreement, Dolphin Drilling will deploy the Blackford Dolphin semisubmersible drilling rig for operations expected to begin in second-half 2024.
The contract spans a firm three-well drilling campaign over 14 months with a firm value of $154 million for the rig and associated services, plus an optional period for 7 months.
