Surge Energy to promote Guidry to CFO as Welch plans retirement

Surge Energy will promote Travis Guidry to CFO next year as James Welch plans retirement.
Surge Energy America, Houston, will promote Travis Guidry, currently vice-president of corporate development and investor relations, to chief financial officer, effective Jan. 1, 2025.
Guidry, who has been with Surge Energy since 2016, will succeed James Welch, who has elected to retire from the company effective Dec. 31, 2024. Welch has served as chief financial officer since the founding of the company in 2015.
