Trillion Energy International Inc., Vancouver, has appointed Kubilay Yildirim as chief operating officer. He previously served as general manager of Park Place Energy Turkey Ltd., Trillion’s Turkey subsidiary. He is also a director of Trillion.
Yildirim has 24 years of experience in drilling, production, seismic acquisition, and logistics for both onshore and offshore projects in Turkey.
Trillion is an oil and gas producing company with multiple assets throughout Turkey and Bulgaria. The company is 49% owner of SASB natural gas field, one of the Black Sea’s first and largest-scale natural gas development projects; a 19.6% (except three wells with 9.8%) interest in Cendere oil field; and in Bulgaria, the Vranino 1-11 block, a prospective unconventional natural gas property.
The company is awaiting arrival of the offshore jack-up drilling rig Uranus, which was recently released by its previous project. The rig is being prepared for transit to SASB gas field for the company’s contemplated 7 well drilling program.
