QatarEnergy has entered into a long-term naphtha supply agreement with Shell International Eastern Trading Co. (Shell), Singapore.
The 20-year agreement calls for up to 18 million tons of naphtha to be delivered to Shell starting in April 2025.
Minister of State for Energy Affairs and president and chief executive officer of QatarEnergy Saad Sherida Al-Kaabi said the deal is the “first 20-year naphtha sales agreement, the largest and longest to date,” and the second such agreement with Shell since 2019.
