Lebanon has extended the deadline for its Third Offshore Licensing Round to Mar. 17, 2025.
On Dec. 27, 2023, the Minister of Energy and Water declared that blocks Blocks 1, 2, 3, and 4 in the northern half of the country's maritime exclusive economic zone and Blocks 5, 6, 7, 8, and 10 in the southern half were open to receive bids in the licensing round with an original July 2, 2024, closing date.
Blocks 8 and 10 are still under negotiation since the Second Offshore Licensing Round.
