Total SA has named Arnaud Breuillac as president, exploration and production, effective Jan. 1, 2014. He also will join the company’s executive committee, effective Oct. 1, 2014.
Breuillac joined Total in 1982 and has held E&P positions in France, Abu Dhabi, the UK, Indonesia, and Angola. From 2004 to 2006, he served as vice-president, Iran, in the company’s Middle East division. As senior vice-president, continental Europe and central Asia, he was appointed to E&P’s management committee.
He previously served as senior vice-president, Middle East, in E&P beginning in 2010 (OGJ Online, July 15, 2010). A year later, he became part of Total’s management committee.
Breuillac will report to Yves Louis Darricarrere, upstream president and member of Total’s executive committee.
