CNOOC starts production at Enping 21-4

CNOOC started production at an oilfield development project in the South China Sea.

CNOOC Ltd. started production at the Enping 21-4 Oilfield Development Project in the eastern South China Sea in about 89 m of water.

Enping 21-4 was developed with two extra extended reach wells drilled from the existing production platform. The well depth exceeds 9,500 m. The project is expected to achieve peak production of about 5,300 boe/d of light crude in 2025.

CNOOC is operator and holds 100% interest in Enping 21-4.
