Aker BP granted Alvheim Deep drilling permit

Aker BP has been granted a drilling permit for appraisal well 24/6-5 in the North Sea.

Aker BP ASA has been granted a drilling permit by the Norwegian Ocean Industry Authority (Havtil) for appraisal well 24/6-5 in the Alvheim Deep prospect of North Sea production license 203.

The exploration well will be drilled by the Noble Integrator jack-up drilling rig in 120 m of water.

Aker BP is operator (80%) with partner ConocoPhillips Skandinavia AS (20%).
