Aker BP has been granted permits by the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate (NPD) to drill three exploration wells in production license 272 B in the North Sea.

Wells 30/12-3 S, 30/12-3 A, and 30/12-3 B, all held in a 50-50 joint venture with Equinor Energy AS, will be drilled by the Odfjell Drilling’s Deepsea Stavanger harsh environment semi-submersible.
