Vår Energi ASA has been granted a permit by the Norwegian Offshore Directorate to drill in the Norwegian Sea.
Exploration well 6406/11-2 S will be drilled by the Deepsea Yantai semisubmersible drilling rig in production license 586 beginning in May.
Vår Energi ASA is operator of the license with 75% interest. Partners are Sval Energi AS (17.5%) and DNO Norge AS (7.5%).
