    Equinor Energy granted permit to drill wildcat

    Equinor Energy AS has been granted a drilling permit for wildcat well 6610/7-3 in production license (PL) 1014 by The Norwegian Offshore Directorate

    Equinor Energy AS has been granted a drilling permit for wildcat well 6610/7-3 in production license (PL) 1014 by The Norwegian Offshore Directorate.

    The well will be drilled in the Norwegian Sea by the Deepsea Atlantic semisubmersible rig with an October 2024 planned entry date.

    Equinor is operator at PL 1014 (80%) with partner Okea ASA (20%).
