ConocoPhillips and PGNiG granted North Sea drilling permits

ConocoPhillips Skandinavia AS and PGNiG Upstream Norway AS have been granted drilling permits by the Petroleum Safety Authority Norway. ConocoPhillips will drill well 25/7-10, the Lamba prospect, in Block 25/7, Production License (PL) 782 S.

ConocoPhillips Skandinavia AS and PGNiG Upstream Norway AS (PGNiG) have been granted drilling permits by the Petroleum Safety Authority Norway.

ConocoPhillips will drill well 25/7-10, the Lamba prospect, in Block 25/7, Production License (PL) 782 S in the North Sea.

The well will be drilled by Transocean Norge in 125.5 m of water.

ConocoPhillips is operator at PL 782 S (40%) with partners Equinor Energy AS (20%), Aker BP ASA (20%), and Wintershall Dea Norge AS (20%). 

PGNiG will drill well 6608/1-1 S, the Copernicus prospect, in Production License (PL) 1017 in the Norwegian Sea.

The well will be drilled by the Deepsea Yantai in 491 m of water.

PGNiG is operator at PL 1017 (50%) with partners Equinor Energy AS (40%) and Longboat Energy Norge AS (10%).
