Humber Gathering System Ltd. (HGSL), a Kellas Midstream company, and Dana Petroleum have appointed ODE Asset Management, an ODE Group Ltd. subsidiary, as installation operator of the Tolmount platform, a normally unattended installation in the southern UK North Sea. The platform is under construction. Start of natural gas production is planned for the fourth quarter of 2020.
The platform and associated gas export pipeline comprise the Humber Gathering System, which is owned by HGSL and Dana Petroleum. The 50-50 joint venture formed by the companies will finance the platform and pipeline and the modifications to Centrica’s Easington onshore gas terminal to which gas from Tolmount gas field (owned by Premier Oil and Dana Petroleum) will be exported (OGJ Online, July 18, 2018). The JV will be paid a tariff for transportation of the Tolmount gas.
ODE AM will be responsible for the safe operation of the platform and will provide operations, maintenance, and integrity support services. ODE AM is currently providing operational input throughout the project execution phase and has full responsibility for operational readiness.
