Expand Energy Corp. has appointed Daniel E. Brown as president and chief executive officer (CEO), effective Oct. 26, 2026. Brown will also be appointed to the board of directors.

Michael A. Wichterich, who has served as interim president and CEO since the departure of Nick Dell’Osso in February, will return to his role as non-executive chairman of the board.

Brown joins Expand Energy following his role as president, CEO, and member of the board of directors of Chord Energy Corp. He holds experience across upstream and midstream operations, including serving in various leadership roles with Anadarko Petroleum over a 20-year period.
