Summary

In today’s climate of economic uncertainty, industrial companies expect more from automation investments than just technical capabilities—they demand measurable business outcomes.

For technology providers, this means speaking the language of finance. Successful proposals now directly link solutions to tangible improvements in throughput, downtime, safety, and cost efficiency. Digital Investment Analysis (DIA) tools are essential in bridging technical benefits with strategic value, empowering internal champions to build compelling financial cases for investment.

Artificial intelligence (AI) accelerates this process by cutting research and modeling time by over 75%, enhancing both the speed and quality of business case development.

For engineers, DIA tools reduce time spent on manual data tasks, allowing greater focus on high-value activities like solution design, innovation, and stakeholder engagement.

Schneider Electric’s Digital Investment Analysis Framework (DIAF) provides a structured methodology for quantifying value—establishing baselines, building financial models, and aligning outcomes with customer investment criteria. This webinar will explore how DIAF strengthens automation proposals and enables faster, data-driven decision-making.
