WTG South Permian Midstream LLC, a subsidiary of WTG Gas Processing LP, Midland, Tex., is planning to build a 200-MMcfd cryogenic natural gas processing plant near Saint Lawrence in Glasscock County, Tex.

Alongside construction of the proprietary UOP Russell 200-MMcfd modular processing plant already on hand for the project, the Saint Lawrence plant expansion will include 45 miles of 16-in., high-pressure pipeline that will serve to interconnect WTG’s existing gas gathering and processing installations in the area, WTG said.

Supported by dedications from WTG’s existing producers and located in the core of the Midland basin, the Saint Lawrence plant will provide needed additional processing capacity and connectivity to some of the best NGL and residue gas takeaway options in the Permian basin, said WTG Pres. Michael Davis.

The entire project is scheduled to be completed during third-quarter 2019 at the latest, the operator said.

Once fully commissioned, the Saint Lawrence plant and associated installations will raise WTG’s interconnected processing capacity in Midland basin to about 1 bcfd and complete the operator’s strategy to interconnect its broader Midland basin gas gathering and processing capabilities, the company said.
