WaterBridge Operating LLC has launched an open season to support construction of its 30-in. OD Speedway produced water gathering and transportation pipelines. The open season is scheduled to end May 1, 2025.

Speedway, expected to enter service fourth-quarter 2025, will consist of dual pipelines extending across Northern Delaware basin to connect Eddy and Lea Counties, NM, to out-of-basin pore space in the Central Basin Platform owned by WaterBridge’s affiliate, LandBridge Co. LLC. The pipeline will access about 4 million b/d of contiguous pore space, 1 million b/d of which is approved capacity on the Central Basin Platform.

WaterBridge is a portfolio company of Five Point Energy LLC and GIC Pvt. Ltd. that operates large-scale produced water transportation, handling, recycling and reuse assets in Southern Delaware basin in West Texas and Arkoma basin in Oklahoma. Collectively, WaterBridge handles about 2.4 million b/d of produced water and owns roughly 4.2 million b/d of produced water handling capacity and 2,400 miles of pipeline.

Devon Energy Corp. in 2023 formed a partnership with WaterBridge—NDB Midstream LLC—to develop water transportation, handling, and recycling in the Stateline region, which includes Loving County, Tex., as well as and Lea and Eddy counties (OGJ Online, Aug. 7, 2023). NDB also operates Eagle Ford basin water infrastructure in South Texas.
