IOG to acquire Bacton gas facilities

Independent Oil & Gas PLC (IOG), London, has signed an agreement with Perenco UK Ltd., Tullow Oil SK Ltd., and Spirit Energy Resources Ltd. to acquire Thames Pipeline reception facilities at the Bacton Gas Terminal in the UK.

The facilities are in the Perenco part of the terminal where the Thames line, 100% owned by IOG, makes landfall. They include gas and liquids reception equipment to be refurbished and recommissioned during IOC’s development of six Southern North Sea fields that will be linked with the pipeline.

IOG described consideration as “nominal.”
