David Haake

David Haake is an IBM Industry Solutions Executive and he is currently leading a worldwide Alliance program between IBM and Schlumberger. Mr. Haake formerly led the IBM MEA, IBM ASEAN, IBM China, IBM Australia, and the IBM US Chemicals and Petroleum Industry Solutions teams – where he helped establish IBM Industry Solution Centers in Perth, Beijing, Singapore, and Abu Dhabi. He is an accomplished business consultant with extensive experience serving the global Oil & Gas industry around business process transformation, ERP/MES application software, and IT infrastructure. Mr Haake’s career began in process automation (ten years with ABB in the US, Latin America and Europe), and included a decade in enterprise systems with Oracle, SAP, and Aspen Technology before joining IBM ten years ago. He is a frequent public speaker for IBM on Major Capital Projects and Integrated Operations. Mr Haake has supported IT and automation projects in the Oil & Gas Industry worldwide for over thirty years.
