Senior Technical Manager

Jill Brown joined Honeywell in 2017 as Senior Technical Manager for its UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) Solutions team at Honeywell Aerospace. Prior to joining Honeywell Aerospace she was Program Manager at NASA Langley Flight Research Center’s Unmanned Systems Operations Office where she oversaw the CERTAIN (City Environment Range Testing for Autonomous Integrated Navigation) unmanned systems range. She is a licensed and current private pilot, licensed Part 107 UAS pilot, and holds a Master’s of Aeronautics in Unmanned Systems from Embry Riddle University. Recently she was the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) selected delegate for the State of Arizona Congressional Visit Day in Washington D.C. and participates in the linear unmanned systems infrastructure working group for the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) helping to inform and advise the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) about gaps in standards and regulations for advancing beyond visual line of sight (BVLOS) UAV inspections.
