Brian C. Murrell

Brian is a partner in Deloitte's Accounting, Valuation & Analytics group, focused on financial accounting and reporting matters affecting Energy & Resources companies. Brian serves as the IFRS Energy Lead for this group. He has significant experience in implementing IFRS for Energy & Resources companies, including derivatives accounting guidance under IAS 39 and FAS 133.
His international experience included significant focus on IFRS and its implications on energy companies, serving as a thought leader around IFRS for the UK Firm and throughout Deloitte's European energy practices.
