Mark is a Chemical & Petroleum and Process Manufacturing Consultant with over 25 years of Industry experience helping clients improve their business strategy and operations through the application of advanced technologies and services solutions.
Mark is currently a Solutions Executive on the Global Chemical & Petroleum Tiger Team. Prior to his current role at IBM, Mark was an Industry Consultant covering Chemical & Petroleum with the Information Agenda Tiger Team and the Big Data Industry Team. Mark also led IBM's efforts for Chemical & Petroleum in the Information Management Framework Program as a cross brand selling initiative with an Industry focus across software, hardware and services.
Prior to joining IBM, Mark has held positions as Vice President, Director of Consulting, Project Management and Consultant in a number of SAP Business Partner companies focused on Process Manufacturing and Chemical & Petroleum. Mark began his Information Technology career as a Programmer Analyst for Process Manufacturers. He has experience in many technology areas including ERP, MES, SCADA/HMI, as well as Supply Chain Management. He is a Certified Supply Chain Professional through APICS (The Association for Operations Management). Mark has a Business Management degree from Averett University, Danville, VA, and a Master of Theology degree from Andersonville Theological Seminary, Camilla, GA.
