It is with great sadness that I must tell you that this will be the last issue of Oil & Gas Financial Journal. As industry leaders and influencers in the oil and gas and finance and investment communities, OGFJ readers have looked to OGFJ for many years for insights into a wide range of investment vehicles, broad analysis of the global petroleum industry, trends in the market, and profiles of leading executives, companies and technologies. OGFJ’s mission has been to provide these important decision-makers with crucial data and analysis from industry experts and experienced editors about the business of the global petroleum industry and how it affects day-to-day businesses operations.
Oil & Gas Financial Journal’s editorial staff has done a terrific job of ensuring that OGFJ was the business publication for the oil and gas executive. We are proud of the outstanding editorial product and of the reputation for excellence that has earned the respect of our readers and advertisers for many years.
As chief editor, Don Stowers was the editorial force behind OGFJ from its early days in 2004. Don is an award-winning energy writer and editor with more than 30 years of experience reporting on the global petroleum industry and the financial community. Don had been planning his retirement for over a year and did so after completing the November 2017 issue.
Mikaila Adams joined OGFJ in 2005. With nearly 20 years of editorial experience, Mikaila managed content for OGFJ’s print publication as well as for the brand’s digital media products including newsletters, website, and social media channels. Additionally, she serves as an editorial advisory board member for various events. Mikaila has joined the Oil & Gas Journal editorial team in an important new role.
The magazine editions of Oil & Gas Financial Journal will no longer be published but the important role OGFJ played in the oil and gas financial community will continue in new and robust ways as part of the Oil & Gas Journal’s important coverage for oil and gas business leaders worldwide.
