IHRDC, Boston, Mass., has named Robert W. Taylor director for business development.
Taylor has more than 26 years experience in the international petroleum industry most recently as the business development manager Eastern Hemisphere for Dresser Oil Tools. He now becomes responsible for the marketing and sales of IHRDC's respected management and instructional programs, consulting services, and media production and training products.
IHRDC is a privately owned provider of oil, gas and power technology transfer.
Compressor Engineering Corp. (CECO), Houston, Tex., has named Charles G. Ely II vice president of its Anderson Consulting, Training & Testing (ACTT) Div.
Ely will oversee the training, performance and efficiency testing, and general consulting services offered by this division. He will work with operators of reciprocating equipment to implement integrated operational excellence programs to ensure efficient, reliable, and emission compliant operation of their gas machinery.
