Paul Post is working with Edgehill Petroleum Consulting Ltd. as an exploration consultant on China's third onshore bid round. He has 25 years in oil and gas exploration with substantial experience in all geologic and related aspects of new venture development, play and prospect generation, technical assessment, and project analysis. With an extensive background in project preparation, implementation, and administration he has special expertise in regional synthesis, economic analysis, risk assessment, basin analysis, basin modeling, and strategic planning. He has a BS in geology from Virginia Polytechnic Institute.
Alex Milne has been a director of Edgehill since 1990. He previously was an exploration geologist with Schlumberger Anadrill, Total, and Clyde Petroleum. He has extensive exploration experience in Nigeria, Abu Dhabi, Spain, France, Holland, Ireland, the Norwegian and British North Sea, and more recently China and the West Siberian basin. He has a BSc in geology from Aberdeen University.
Li Bingjian is working towards his PhD at the University of Aberdeen, sponsored by Shell U.K. Exploration and Production. He was employed by China National Petroleum Corp. and worked in Liaohe as a geological assistant and then in Beijing with Research Institute of Petroleum Exploration and Development (Riped), CNPC's research center, as a geologist. There he gained wide experience about Chinese petroleum basins. He has a Bsc in petroleum geology from Daqing Petroleum Institute and an Msc from Riped.
