Abu Dhabi Gas Liquefaction Co. (Adgas) will export liquefied natural gas under short term supply contracts to Belgium, France, and Spain through early 1996.

Under an agreement signed in May, Adgas will supply Spain's Enagas about 285,000 metric tons of LNG in nine shipments during June 1995-March 1996.

Adgas also expects to sign an agreement in July with France's Gaz de France (GdF) and Belgium's Distrigaz to supply 700,000 tons of LNG during July 1995-March 1996. Adgas shipped spot cargoes of LNG to GdF and Distrigaz in the first quarter.

The deals represent entry into Europe by Adgas, which commissioned a $I billion third train at its Das Island LNG complex in May 1994, doubling capacity to 5 million tons/year.
