Vertex names Haugh interim COO as Rhame plans retirement

Current chief operating officer James Rhame will serve as a consultant to Vertex Energy until yearend after his retirement July 25.
Vertex Energy Inc., Houston, has named Doug Haugh, the company’s chief commercial officer, to assume the role of interim chief operating officer, succeeding James Rhame, who will retire effective July 25. Rhame will support Vertex in a consulting role through end-2024.
