Joyce joins Akin Gump’s Singapore business as partner

Joyce has experience advising private sector and government clients on matters involving natural gas and oil value chains. This includes acquisition of upstream assets and operational oil and gas field businesses; negotiation of joint operating agreements; farm-in and farm-out agreements; gas and oil supply arrangements; LNG off-take agreements; LNG and oil project development, including gas and oil transportation and pipeline arrangements; and petroleum product supplies.

Earlier in his career, he was general counsel for ITOCHU Australia Ltd., a subsidiary of a Japanese general trading company. Before that, he was an associate at an international law firm operating in the Asia-Pacific region.
