Minyard focuses on debt financings for both lenders and borrowers, particularly those in the exploration and production, oil field services, and midstream sectors. He has experience with acquisition financing and other specialized energy finance transactions, including reserve-based lending, mezzanine debt financings, and volumetric production payments.
Minyard’s arrival at Sidley follows that of energy partners David Asmus and Brian Bradshaw and continues the expansion of the firm’s global capabilities in mergers and acquisitions, project finance, and infrastructure for clients in the energy sector.
