Equitrans Midstream appoints Charletta to succeed Karam as CEO

Equitrans Midstream Corp. has appointed Diana Charletta, currently the company’s president and chief operating officer, to succeed Thomas F. Karam as chief executive officer upon his transition to executive chairman. Both appointments are effective Jan. 1, 2024.

Charletta has served as Equitrans' chief operating officer since September 2018, was appointed president and chief operating officer in July 2019, and was appointed to the board in April 2022 (OGJ Online, July 15, 2019; Nov. 13, 2018).

Karam has served as Equitrans’ chief executive officer since September 2018 and was appointed chairman of the board in July 2019.

Charletta and Karam will both continue to serve as members of the board of directors.
