Santos changes organizational structure, makes appointments
Santos Ltd. has made changes to its organizational structure to provide a stronger regional focus, the company said in a release May 23.
Under the updated model, three regional business units will focus on the enabling and execution of corporate strategy and two functional divisions will be accountable for global portfolio management and strategy –energy solutions and upstream gas and liquids.
As part of the new structure, the operator has made new appointments.
Brett Woods has been appointed executive vice-president – Western Australia, Northern Australia and Timor-Leste. Brett Darley has been appointed executive vice-president – Eastern Australia and Papua New Guinea. David Banks has been appointed executive vice-president upstream gas and liquids. Alan Stuart-Grant will join Aug. 1 as executive vice-president –energy solutions.
The initiatives follow implementation of Santos’ backfill, sustain, decarbonization, and clean fuels strategy announced in November 2022.
