Colonial Pipeline Co. has hired Melanie Little as the company's next president and chief executive officer, effective Jan. 2, 2023.
Little succeeds Joseph A. Blount Jr., who this summer announced his plan to retire at yearend. Blount has led Colonial since 2017 and previously served on the company's board of directors.
Little has over 20 years of industry experience include serving in her current role as Magellan Midstream Partners LP’s chief operating officer. Prior to joining Magellan in 2004, Little worked for The Williams Companies Inc. and is a veteran of the US Army, Army Reserves, and Ga. Army National Guard.
