Mikells elected SVP, CFO of Exxon Mobil

Exxon Mobil has elected Kathryn Mikells as senior vice-president and chief financial officer following the planned retirement of Andrew Swiger as senior vice president after more than 43 years of service.

Exxon Mobil Corp. has elected Kathryn Mikells as senior vice-president and chief financial officer, effective Aug. 9, following the planned retirement of Andrew Swiger as senior vice president on Sept. 1 after more than 43 years of service.

Mikells joins ExxonMobil from Diageo PLC, where she held the position of chief financial officer since 2015 and was a member of the board of directors.

Swiger joined Mobil in 1978. He held a series of upstream, corporate, and downstream assignments and was elected senior vice-president and a member of the management committee in 2009 and became principal financial officer in 2013.
