QatarEnergy LNG contractor awards contract for North Field project

QatarEnergy LNG contractor by Larsen & Toubro Limited (L&T) Hydrocarbon Business (L&T Energy Hydrocarbon – LTEH) has let a contract to Technip Energies for the North Field Production Sustainability Offshore Compression Project (NFPS COMP 4) about 80 km off the northeast coast of Qatar (OGJ Online, Mar. 27, 2025).

Under the contract, Technip Energies, having completed the front-end engineering and design (FEED) phase, will provide detailed engineering design for two offshore compression complexes. Each will comprise large offshore platforms, flare platforms, interconnected bridges, and other associated structures.

Technip Energies said it values the contract at €50-250 million of revenue and recorded the award in this year’s first quarter.
