Vår Energi ASA has been granted a permit by the Norwegian Offshore Directorate to drill in the North Sea.
Exploration well 7/1-4 S will be drilled in production license 1090 by the COSLPioneer semisubmersible drilling rig.
Vår Energi is operator of the license with 50% interest. Partners are Petoro AS (20%), Aker BP ASA (20%), and Equinor Energy AS (10%).
