Brigham Exploration affiliates closed a deal to acquire Permian basin assets from Great Western Drilling.

Brigham Exploration (BEXP) affiliates, Austin, Tex., a non-operated oil and gas company, have acquired non-operated Permian basin assets from privately held Great Western Drilling Ltd.

The acquisition includes over 7,000 net acres in the Delaware and Midland basin, primarily in Eddy and Lea Counties in New Mexico, and Martin, Midland, Loving, and Winkler Counties in Texas.

As of August 2024, net production from about 29 net producing wells was 2,700 boe/d.
Pro forma for the acquisition, BEXP's average net daily wellhead production is estimated to be about 15,500 boe/d as of August 2024 from a combined 79 net producing wells, including assets from both of BEXP's private funds, the company said.
