Aker BP lets maintenance, modifications contract extension for work offshore Norway

Aker BP has let a 2-year contract extension to Aker Solutions for maintenance and modifications work covering certain operated field centers offshore Norway. 

The contract extension, valued by Aker Solutions at NOK 0.5-1.5 billion, covers field centers Valhall & Hod, Ula & Tambar, Alvheim, and Skarv and runs for a fixed period from December 2024 to December 2026 under an existing frame agreement. 

The extension includes an option to further extend for an additional 2 years will be formalized subject to Aker BP license partners approval.
