TotalEnergies has agreed to a long-term LNG supply deal with Sinopec.
Under the agreement, the operator will supply 2 million tonnes/year of LNG to China for 15 years, starting in 2028.
The agreement "comes within the strategic cooperation agreement signed earlier this year between TotalEnergies and Sinopec" during President Xi Jinping’s state visit to France, TotalEnergies said in a release Nov. 4.
