Atofina Petrochemicals changes name to Total Petrochemicals USA

Atofina Petrochemicals Inc., Houston, changed its name to Total Petrochemicals USA Inc., effective Oct. 1, to more closely align the business with its parent company, Total SA, said Pres. and CEO Jean-Pierre Seeuws.

HOUSTON, Oct. 5 -- Atofina Petrochemicals Inc., Houston, changed its name to Total Petrochemicals USA Inc., effective Oct. 1, to more closely align the business with its parent company, Total SA, said Pres. and CEO Jean-Pierre Seeuws.
"The ability to more closely align with the group will enhance the market for our products," Seeuws said.
Total Petrochemicals USA produces polypropylene, polyethylene, polystyrene, styrene, base chemicals, and transportation fuels.
