Baker Hughes acquiring Cornerstone Pipeline Inspection Group

Baker Hughes Inc., Houston, has acquired Cornerstone Pipeline Inspection Group LLC, Houston, (CPIG), which will operate as part of the Baker Hughes Pipeline Management Group (PMG), a unit of Baker Petrolite.

HOUSTON, May 30 -- Baker Hughes Inc., Houston, has acquired Cornerstone Pipeline Inspection Group LLC, Houston, (CPIG), which will operate as part of the Baker Hughes Pipeline Management Group (PMG), a unit of Baker Petrolite.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed, a Baker Hughes spokesman said.

CPIG provides in-line inspection services to assess the integrity of pipelines worldwide. Baker Hughes provides drilling, formation evaluation, completion and production products and services to the worldwide oil and gas industry.
