Revolution to acquire Jones Energy for $201 million

Revolution II Wi Holding Company LLC, Oklahoma City, an affiliate of Mountain Capital Partners LP, Houston, has agreed to acquire Jones Energy II Inc., Austin, in an all-cash transaction valued at $201.5 million.

Under the terms of the merger agreement, Jones Energy stockholders will receive $14.11 in cash for each share of Jones Energy Class A common stock or each unit of Jones Energy Holdings II LLC they own, as applicable. The transaction is expected to close in the first quarter of 2020.
According to its web site, Jones Energy is engaged in the development and acquisition of oil and gas in the Anadarko basin of Oklahoma and Texas.
Revolution is engaged in the development and acquisition of oil and natural gas properties in the US Mid-Continent region. The company was formed and made its first acquisition in 2018.
