OGDCL discovers hydrocarbons in Sindh Province
Oil & Gas Development Co. Ltd. (OGDCL) discovered gas and condensate in district Tando Allah Yar, Sindh Province, Pakistan.
The Dars West # 02 well was drilled to 2,081 m, and the Lower Guru C-Sand exploratory zone was tested at 8.51 MMscfd gas and 360 b/d condensate through a 32/64-in choke at 1,947 psi flowing well head pressure.
OGDCL is operator of the Dars West Development and Production Lease joint venture with 77.5 % interest. Government Holdings (Private) Ltd. holds 22.5%.
