HOUSTON, Feb. 6 -- ENI SPA's Tunisian subsidiary Agip Tunisia BV, Tunis, expects to place its Hawa-1 discovery well in the Ghadames basin on production shortly (OGJ Online, Dec. 16, 2003).
The well flowed 6,300 b/d of 42° gravity oil from Silurian Acacus A1, A2, A3, A5, A7, and A7 sandstone intervals. It also flowed 14.5 MMcfd of gas and 1,000 b/d of 60° gravity condensate from Silurian Upper Tannezuft T2 and T3 sandstone intervals, said Tunisia's state ETAP, a participant in the Borj el Khadra production concession in southernmost Tunisia. TD is 4,141 m in an Ordovician gas-bearing section.
Oil will flow through 13 km of newly laid 8-in. pipeline to the Oued Zar processing facilities.
The discovery is near the group's Adam field, which ETAP notes is averaging 4,300 b/d.
