Texaco Exploration Pakistan Inc. has acquired a 926.4 sq mile concession in Sind province, Pakistan. An agreement with Pakistan's state owned Oil & Gas Development Corp. and the Pakistani president covers Block 17, northwest of Indus basin oil and gas fields in southern Pakistan and 75 125 miles northeast of Karachi.
