Shell Trinidad and Tobago Ltd. is advancing work at Manatee gas field development with issue of a limited notice to proceed to McDermott International Ltd. for engineering, procurement, construction, and installation (EPCI) contract.
Subject to Shell taking a final investment decision, the Manatee project scope is for the design, procurement, fabrication, transportation, installation, and commissioning of a wellhead platform, offshore and onshore gas pipelines.
The award follows McDermott’s delivery of the front-end engineering design for Manatee gas field, a conventional gas development project off the east cost of Trinidad and Tobago that, once commissioned, will supply gas to both domestic and export markets (OGJ Online, Mar. 28, 2023).
